Transition towards circular aquacultureSince we have experienced that the system also works for culturing fish fry, we feel there is an opportunity for the development of a new phenomenon: free-range fish. By free-range fish we mean cultured fish that is brought up under sustainable and animal friendly circumstances; a step necessary for the present aquaculture to make, just as stock farming did many years ago. The energy-saving, closed water purification system we work with might even be used for culturing fish in the desert or in office buildings. Our approach fits perfectly with the transition to a circular economy and promises a revolution in the transition from traditional aquaculture to circulair aquaculture. |
